Effective January 1, 2025, all candidates seeking certification in the Medical Assistant field will be directed to the Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CMAC) exam, which is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA).

The decision to retire the MAC exam and transition to the CMAC exam reflects our ongoing commitment to providing the highest standards of certification in the Medical Assisting field. The NCCA accreditation of the CMAC exam ensures that candidates are held to a nationally recognized standard of excellence, enhancing their qualifications and career prospects.
